Manufacture of large diameter, hot forged bolts has always been a Westray “staple” product. Special purpose applications, high tensile properties and specific corrosion protection requirements can all be made by Westray to meet the most demanding applications.

Westray’s capacity in bolt making is as follows:

• Diameter: 10mm – 90mm
• Length: Up to 6m
• Strength: Gr4.6 – Gr10.9
• Finish: Plain, hot-dip galvanized, electro-plated
• Design: A wide range of head designs including hexagon, square, cup etc. Ask us about your special requirements – we may already have tooling.
• Other: Fully machined shanks for special applications requiring high fatigue strength.
